Why should I pray my salah

Alhamdulillah this is a great little book. Written in very 'kid friendly' language and comes across where you feel the character Eliyas is talking right in front of you. We were struggling to get our 8yr old to want to pray salah for herself rather than praying because she's been told. This book has been a game changer as their are really cool activities but also she loves that it tracks the adults salah as well as her own so it is very much a book that shows her the importance of salat for any age but that doing it collectively brings so many positives- barakah of praying together, building family bonds, the importance of collectively praying salat in jamaat but also the serenity of praying on your own and to understand this is your time to connect with Allah. This has been the most effective change as she has really grasped that this her time to 'talk' to Allah her Creator about anything and He is listening and He will guide her In all her aspirations, give her solace in difficult times but ultimately to know she is NEVER alone.
Despite the world been on social media I am coming across more and more young people who are saying how lonely and alone they feel. Really building that connection with Allah and our beloved Prophet Muhammad (saw) is vital at a young age. We went through the whole book twice with her and I know I will keep coming back to it as each time her perspective and understanding grows
Alhamdulillah I feel very blessed to have come across such a 'cool' kids book that really grabs their attention straight away.
