This colourful and charmingly illustrated book introduces children to Allah’s four seasons and the phrase Alhamdulillah.
The rhyming text describes the weather and the ways in which four diverse Muslim families enjoy what the seasons have to offer.
A child-friendly explanation of Alhamdulillah is provided at the end, along with a game of Spot & Talk which encourages children to go back through the book and engage in conversation.
I loved the concept of this book introducing seasons to children while reminding them of the Creator of the seasons, in a simple and effective way.
The quality was great, poem simple to read and repetition. The illustrations promoting diversity and appreciation of the seasons.
I particularly liked the spot the birds feature and explanation of ‘Alhamdulillah’ at the end of the book.
Great for ages 0-6
I particularly like it for age 3-4, when kids usually first notice and talk about seasons.
